Hi guys.!
I am here with another review if one of the most talked about toner from Vichy. This is from the range Normaderm- meant for oily and acne prone skin.

I have never been actually able to use toner before but ever since I tried this green baby I understood its important to reach your skin down to the pore level. A lot of oil, dirt and sebum accumulates in the pores which when gets in contact with hair follicle blocks the pore and results in white head or black head and/or acne :(
By the way, I got it from
Health & Glow store. It's also available at nykaa as well.
Since, I have acne n open pore issues, I thought of 'investing' on it.
This green bottle of Vichy says it's a 'pore purifying' lotion cum astringent woahh.
I brought it for the fact that it's made for sensitive skin . It has Vichy Thermal Spa water and is soap-free and PARABEN- free.. hurray.

My reviews:
I used it in my night skin care routine. After I wash my face I put few drops of this lotion/ toner on clean cotton ball and gently dab it on my areas which has open pores like cheeks, side of the nose, chin, and areas where I feel few bumps/ zits coming up.

It stings for a few seconds specially around the nose. Sensitive noses plz take a note ! But it subsides within seconds, nothing intolerable. If a product stings for a while it means it's working, nothing to worry about.
It has got Glycolic Acid in the ingredient list because of which it gives 'peeling effect' but the process is gentle.
It toke me 4 days or rather I should say night to actually come to notice the results..
While on one hand, it did help to dry out the existing acne, sadly I also noticed the skin around the area where I applied it, getting dried and flaky.
I had to apply little more moisturiser than usual the next morning.

Pros:
- It's soap free and PARABEN- free
- It has vichy thermal spa water
- It contains Glycolic acid which is good in drying out existing acne and acne scars
- It gives a little cooling sensation on being applied.
Cons:
- The toner did not absorb completely into my skin. Although the lotion had dried but I could still feel a thin film over the areas I applied it.
- Skin around the area became flaky, the next day.
- dry skin beauties- I guess its not good choice for you- so does bottle mentions meant for oily skin.
- I could not notice any decrease in pore size- may be I need to use it for another 4-5 months.
- Price is an issue: 1090 for 200 ml.
Will I repurchase?
It did help me in calming the existing acne and fading few of the fresh scars but still i think I will try another one after this gets over, probably from Seba-med. :)
